Caitlin joins Genesys Works as Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer with 15 years of experience in workforce development and education.
Caitlin began her career as a public school teacher at a vocational high school in Maine, where she developed a strong passion for helping young adults connect to both meaningful careers and higher education to set them on a path to lifelong success.
Prior to joining GW, Caitlin spent over 10 years in a variety of roles at Year Up. She helped to scale the program nationally, leading growth and expansion in the Bay Area, Phoenix, and Los Angeles. Caitlin also helped formalize innovation at Year Up by launching and leading the organization’s R&D lab to develop new solutions for connecting young people in need of jobs with companies in need of talent. Most recently, Caitlin managed the Hiring Committee Training Team at Google, ensuring that the company’s hiring practices are inclusive and unbiased. After a stint in the private sector, Caitlin is very excited to be back on the nonprofit side, and looks forward to driving the strategy and innovation needed to scale GW nationally.
Caitlin earned her MBA from Boston University and her BA from Bowdoin College.
