Daneiva Allevato

Senior Program Coordinator of College Interns

Office Staff

Daneiva completed a Master’s Degree in Higher Education from the University of Houston where she focused on policy studies, student development, and college access and retention issues. While reflecting on her own personal experience as a first-generation college student, Daneiva gained a desire to address inequity in higher education and help students achieve economic and social mobility. Her dedication to become a student success advocate began while studying at the University of Washington, where she served as a peer advisor intern and leader of a student run college access program in the surrounding Seattle areas. Prior to joining Genesys Works, Daneiva worked for the Urban Experience Program at the University of Houston where she coordinated student engagement events and provided academic advising and career counseling to first-generation and economically disadvantaged students.
