Freeda is responsible for developing a comprehensive fund development plan to secure major gifts for the National Office. She will identify, cultivate, and steward donors through the giving pipeline to a major gift. Additionally, working with GW’s local sites, she will assist development directors in identifying potential major gift prospects and building strategies to move these individuals to a major gift.
Freeda has a Bachelor degree in US History and African American Studies from the University of California, Davis and a Juris Doctorate degree from Seattle University School of law. She has over 18 years of fund development experience, having worked in large federated organizations to small grassroots nonprofits. Freeda has a proven track record in identifying major gift donors and securing large gifts. Throughout her career, she has raised millions of dollars for various nonprofits and organizations. Freeda has a love for working with opportunity youth, and her goal at GW is to secure the funds needed to help GW fulfill its mission.
