Marit Aaseng developed her passion for innovation and educational equity while studying Psychology and Studio Art at St. Olaf College. After graduating, she taught therapeutic nature photography at Northwest Passage, a residential treatment center for teens living with severe mental illness. Continuing her work with underserved youth, Marit spent the next two years as an AmeriCorps volunteer with College Possible at Patrick Henry High School in Minneapolis. In 2016, she brought this expertise in coaching and college access to Genesys Works as Program Coordinator. After training two cohorts of seniors in corporate internships at seven different companies, Marit transitioned to being on the College and Career Success team in 2018. She now leads the implementation of the Talent Development Pipeline.
