As a first-generation college graduate Latina, Natalie believes she has a duty to help youth have a success-oriented mindset. She believes that through higher education, youth can be empowered to explore, dream and discover their strengths. Her objective is to help youth she works with reach their individual potential by equipping them with the necessary skills. Natalie has a BA degree from the University of Minnesota –Twin Cities in Psychology. She comes with five years of experience working with youth from low-income communities, promoting higher education to over 100 elementary and middle school students from a variety of Minneapolis public schools and 20 high school students from El Colegio and Tartan High School.
