Breaking Through, an annual celebration, recognizes the achievements
and hard work of the Genesys Works interns of the Class of 2017.  This year’s interns, who will just be beginning their senior year in high school, will gather with family, corporate and community leaders, and special guests for congratulations on completing their summer 2016 training in technical and professional skills, and launching their career track with meaningful paid internships at major corporations around Houston.

On Tuesday, October 18, Genesys Works, its key Houston partners, and many proud parents will fill the Roy and Lillie Cullen Theater at The Wortham Theater Center to celebrate our interns’ efforts to change the trajectory of their lives and pursue a professional career.  This event will include compelling live comments from our student interns, as well as Genesys Works representatives and a distinguished Keynote Speaker – Michelle Riley-Brown, Executive Vice President of Texas Children’s Hospital.

Date: Tuesday, October 18th, 2016 at 5:30PM
Location: Roy and Lillie Cullen Theater, The Wortham Theater Center (501 Texas Avenue, Downtown Houston)
