Genesys Works in the National Capital Region had a successful 2018! As we reflect, we feel proud of the work our students, partners, and staff have done to impact the Washington metropolitan region community.

• 100% of the class of 2018 were accepted to college, 90% started college the fall after graduation and 40% of our alumni have had a professional internship with top companies in their first 2 years of college.
• The A. James and Alice B.Clark Foundation awarded the National Capital Region with a 3-yaer $1 million grant to support the expansion of its exceptional program in Northern Virginia and the District of Columbia.
• 100% of our supervisors from companies like AT&T, Intelsat, LMI, and the Smithsonian would recommend partnering with Genesys Works with 70% who would strongly recommend the program.
• Elaine Beeman, Senior Managing Director at Accenture Federal Services became chair of the board and Anisa Latif, AT&T Director of Federal Regulatory and Sadhvi Subramanian, SVP at Capital One became members.

In 2019, we hope to continue to meet motivation with opportunity, but we cannot do it without you. We can’t wait to see what we will accomplish together in the New Year.
