HOUSTON, Texas, April 2018 – Genesys Works, a workforce development program serving youth across the country, has received a $50,000 grant from the Travelers Foundation, the charitable arm of Travelers. This grant brings their total giving to $460,000 over the past 10 years.

This grant from the Travelers Foundation will help bolster Genesys Works’ measurement and evaluation methods and tools throughout the organization. Genesys Works places a high priority on tracking program metrics and student outcomes. Continued support from the Travelers Foundation has ensured that Genesys Works’ measurement efforts are sustained through the years. Genesys Works tracks standard program metrics, conducts an annual survey of alumni academic and economic outcomes, and manages a variety of third-party surveys and studies related to the program.

Travelers contributes to efforts that create strong, vibrant communities and offer pathways to success. Through corporate funding and the Travelers Foundation, Travelers targets its giving to three key outcomes: academic & career successthriving neighborhoods and culturally enriched communities.
