WASHINGTON (ABC7) — They stayed off the streets together and Monday, two of H.D. Woodson’s top students graduated. In Monday’s Spotlight on Education, ABC7’s Sam Ford shows us how a local program helped them succeed together too. Woodson’s valedictorian, Tarrell Talbert, and No. 3 grad, Will Myah, are part of a program called Genesys Works, that exposes young people to worlds outside their communities. And now they’re both headed to study at North Carolina A&T State University.
