Mock Interviews is a vital part of our program. For eight weeks, students learn professional and technical skills, which equip them for success during their senior-year internships. These skills include business etiquette and professional communication, and to more effectively develop their interview skills, Genesys Works – Houston partners with business professionals to provide students feedback in a real world environment.
This year, on Wednesday, July 27th, over 130 volunteers participated in quick, 15-minute interviews. At the Omni Hotel on the Westside and The Whitehall Hotel in Downtown, volunteers conducted almost 500 interviews combined! We received great feedback on the interviews from both our young professionals and those who interviewed them:

Thanks to the help of these volunteers, our young professionals will begin their internships more confident and better prepared to succeed in their workplaces. Together, we continue to positively impact Houston youth.
