Career and College Connection (CCC) is our college access program. Program Coordinators (PCs) meet with their Young Professionals (YPs) to discuss strategies for being successful at their internships and set up a post-secondary plan. The CCC program starts the week of Monday, September 11th. Students are expected to attend CCC every week on their assigned day from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Genesys Works Office.

  • Program Coordinators act as a college counselor and assist students through the college application process.
  • We guide YPs to apply to and attend schools and/or post-secondary programs that will be   financial, academic, and social fit for them. Our goal is for all of our YPs to have a solid post-secondary plan in place before they graduate from high school.
  • Throughout the school year, PCs will ask YPs for their grades and test scores for post-secondary applications. Parent financial information will also be requested in order to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This information is kept confidential and is only used to ensure that YPs receive as much financial aid from the government and colleges as possible. Students will receive a letter for their parent/guardians detailing all information required for the FAFSA prior to the application’s opening in October.
