Career and College Connection Begins

It’s not easy to balance your senior year of high school, being a working professional, andplanning for the future, but our interns find a way! To support them, our programming team provides Career and College Connection (CCC) workshops focused on applying to colleges, planning financials, and more.

This month, our young professionals are thinking through their college options. Follow us on social media for updates on their progress!

Employee of the Month

September

Congratulations, Tekia!

Congratulations to our September Employee of the Month, Tekia! Tekia is a Solutions Assistant at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and a senior at Gwendolyn Brooks College Preparatory.

“Tekia is a wonderful addition to our team,” said her internship supervisor Myroslawa. “She has quickly learned and assumed tasks with minimal guidance. Tekia also assisted with testing and validation for one of our products that was being rolled out to a new business group. We really appreciate her attention to detail and professionalism.”

Way to go, Tekia! We’re so glad you’re a part of Chicago’s #FutureWorkforce.
