Recognizing the Cargill Foundation’s Support for Twin Cities Students

May 21, 2026

Since 2021, the Cargill Foundation has been a valued partner of Genesys Works Twin Cities. Their support has fueled the growth of our Young Professionals by creating access to meaningful career experiences, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.

That partnership became even more meaningful as food security and other urgent needs were exacerbated in Minnesota this winter. In response, the Cargill Foundation announced a $25,000 Immediate Response grant to GWTC to support students navigating a challenging time for their families and communities. This investment helped ensure not only the safety and stability of our Young Professionals, but their continued access to educational support and career-connected learning during a critical time for our community.

Through the Cargill Foundation’s continued support of our programs, Genesys Works Twin Cities is able to provide students with professional readiness training, mentorship, and career pathway guidance that prepares them for life beyond high school.

As Jazmine Logan of the Cargill Foundation shared, “Genesys Works’ focus on enhancing career-connected learning and paid, meaningful work experiences for youth directly ties to the Foundation’s mission and goal.”

This partnership reflects a strong alignment in our shared commitment to college and career readiness, particularly for low-income youth facing the widest disparities. The Cargill Foundation’s support strengthens our ability to work alongside schools and provide consistent, real-world work experience that prepares students for post-secondary success.

For others considering investing in Genesys Works programs, Jazmine says, “Genesys Works has strong programmatic outcomes and a deep commitment to providing thoughtful, practical, and transformational experiences for their students. The team is collaborative in building partnerships that work efficiently and create
value for the communities, youth, and businesses, strengthening talent pipelines for our future workforce.”
