As Genesys Works strides boldly into our third decade of supporting young professionals, we are embarking on a journey to grow our impact, codify best practices, and drive stronger outcomes.
Our mission is to provide pathways to career success for high school students in underserved communities through skills training, meaningful work experiences, and impactful relationships.

Genesys Works’ yearlong program creates a supportive environment for growth and success. We empower students to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals through a comprehensive program that prepares them for a successful future. The program is comprised of four-interlocking components:
Students start their journey by completing eight weeks of rigorous business technology training, gaining essential skills in the areas of information technology, business operations and professional development.
After completing skills training, students begin a paid internship at one of our partner companies. They work twenty hours a week during the school year, honing their skills and providing valuable support.
During their internships, students receive over 60 hours of guidance to support their selected career pathways, including assistance with college selection and applications, certifications, and financial aid.
When students join Genesys Works, they also gain access to a community of support from other Genesys Works alumni.
We believe young people and communities have the ability to shape their economic futures and build choice-filled lives. We leverage compassion in our advocacy to correct long-standing social injustices.
We prioritize building resilience to withstand challenges, while also fostering continuous improvement in an ever-changing world. We responsibly allocate resources and ensure that every decision we make is guided by integrity and commitment to mission fidelity.
We foster a culture of inclusivity, where everyone is valued and treated with dignity, in order to build stronger communities and create meaningful change. We act with kindness, seek to understand, and remain open to learning.
We believe in the power of working together in respectful partnership to create opportunities and meaningful change. By listening and evolving together, we create lasting and measurable impact.
