Genesys Works has given me access to making a real career experience. On this journey, you’ll learn business technology training and a meaningful year-long internship with their partnered corporations. I’ve been given endless possibilities to learn to become a respectable person, have better work habits/ethics, and behave in ways as competent and reliable. I’ll be utilizing these skills to prepare myself for the corporate world and professional environment. My first week of Genesys Works was challenging because I had to put in a lot of effort and show that I wanted this internship. Today, I’m thankful for the experience that Genesys Works provided to prepare me, for my internships, and the opportunity to create meaningful moments. I’m excited to meet more Young Professionals and Alumni from Genesys Works because I want to hear their stories about what makes them unique and where their passion came from.

Emily Robles
In my junior year, I first learned about Genesys Works through my counselor and from our class resource page. I also remember signing up for a visit when they came to our school to inform us about the company. I was skeptical during their visit because I am a shy person who felt I would have to step outside of my comfort zone for this. However, it was the professionalism and technical aspects of the training we would receive, as well as the opportunity to learn about the corporate world, that sparked my interest. Since I believed in my potential, I decided to take this on. Genesys Works features has had a significant impact on my professional and career goals in a way that I never anticipated during my senior year of high school. We had a cohort of trainees from all over the Twin Cities during Summer Training, allowing everyone to expand their network. The training provided a setting in which we could learn various tools and how to get ready for internships. Creating a concept for how to see yourself and how to change your life will help you pave the way for your future career.
