Systems Administrator

As the Systems Administrator, you will play a key role in Genesys Works’ growth and success. You will be a key member of the Technology Team that enables Genesys Works to maximize individual, team, and organizational productivity and address business requirements through the effective implementation, management, and use of technology. As a member of the National team, you will directly contribute to the organization’s overall direction and success by working closely with sites and departments across the organization to support new and ongoing organizational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the ongoing maintenance, security, and availability of several applications based on business requirements and adhering to tight operations, security, and procedural models
  • Apply professional-level technical skill and judgment to provide non-routine technical support for production operations to drive optimal performance, reliability, redundancy, and scale
  • Document and thoroughly understand the application architecture and system configuration across platforms
  • Implement and administer technical features and processes to support major seasonal projects in the annual cycles of various business groups
  • Perform day-to-day operational tasks via a ticketing system to meet the technology needs of both staff and students
  • Map out and understand the flow of data between administered systems highlighting opportunities for optimization and areas that challenge data integrity (timeliness, accuracy, and availability)
  • Participate in the development of information technology and infrastructure projects

Qualifications

  • High integrity and commitment to GenesysWorks’ mission, vision, and values
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in IT Analyst or Systems Specialist role
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Experience with some or all of the following or similar cloud platforms: Salesforce, Office365/Exchange, Microsoft Azure, Box (as enterprise DMS), NetSuite, and Form Assembly
  • Ability to work independently while simultaneously maintaining a team focus
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership for work
  • Ability to problem-solve and handle technology crisis situations
  • Proven ability to be flexible and adaptable in a dynamic environment
  • A service-driven mindset with the ability to effectively operate in an SLA
  • Familiarity with iterative, Agile-like development environment

Technical Skills Preferred

  • Salesforce administration, or experience with similar cloud-based CRM
  • Pardot administration, or experience with similar marketing automation platforms
  • Ability to integrate cloud-based systems with iPaaS platforms
  • Microsoft Office365, Azure, Exchange, GSuite
  • Some experience with OO language (Java, APEX) and scripting language (JavaScript, Ruby)•Basic PC hardware troubleshooting and repair

Physical Requirements

Including, but not limited to standing and sitting for long periods of time; speaking loudly and clearly; seeing and hearing things both near and far away; and reaching, stooping, kneeling, and fine-finger and hand manipulation in use of a computer, chalkboard, dry erase board, or projector. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading.
