Join our most inspiring event of the year – Breaking Through! This graduation ceremony brings our community together to celebrate the interns’ completion of our year-long program. This special evening celebrates Cohort 12, Class of 2025, for their success as a GWBA intern. We also honor our Corporate and School Partners for their invaluable support and belief in the power of young people.

Ambassadors Luncheon Kickoff Reception

This reception will be hosted by the 2025 Ambassadors Luncheon chairs, Chris Foster, EVP and CFO of CenterPoint Energy, and Shachella James, VP of Infrastructure and Technology Services at CenterPoint Energy, and will set the stage for our Seventh Annual Ambassadors Luncheon. Highlights of the event will include formally announcing the date for the 2025 Ambassadors Luncheon (this fall) and unveiling this year’s distinguished Fireside Chat speakers.  Join us for an exclusive evening of impact and inspiration and secure your sponsorship for this year’s luncheon.

We are grateful for our partnership with York Solutions and over a decade of impact! The team at York Solutions has demonstrated its commitment to advancing our mission by providing pathways to career success for Twin Cities youth through board leadership, event sponsorships, volunteerism, scholarships for program alumni, and more. Thank you, York Solutions, for organizing the annual Think IT Golf Invitational for Genesys Works. Over $144,00 was raised in 2024, and more than $1,000,000 since the first golf fundraiser in 2013!

Draft Day 2025

Draft Day is Genesys Works' signature end-of-summer event, where we launch our Young Professionals into year-long internships. Think NFL Draft with a corporate twist! This event is attended by over 1,000 Genesys Works stakeholders, including more than 50 corporate partner teams, students, families, school champions, community partners, funders, vendor partners, and volunteers.
