Genesys Works Twin Cities hosted its seventh year of MSP Hatfield & McCoys on Monday, October 15th. Attended by the Twin Cities’ IT vendor community, it was our most successful year yet. This year, the event was hosted at Surly Brewing Company for the first time, bringing in more attendees than any year prior.

Through both silent and live auction, the fundraiser was once again an opportunity to support our College and Career Success program. In our 10th year as an organization, we not only seek to provide opportunities to low-income high school students but also to continue building a talented pipeline of diverse IT professionals. Through increased engagement with our alumni via our College and Career Success Team – the Talent Development Pipeline, celebration events and Career Fairs, college internships, and more – our support extends far beyond high school and even into their career.

Thanks to the support of more than 138 donors at Hatfield & McCoys, we raised more than $114,000! Because of our IT community’s generosity, even more students will have access and opportunity to pursue the future they have envisioned and to strengthen the regional workforce.
