Executive Bringing Extensive Global Experience in Cybersecurity to
New Role
Houston, TX – August 08, 2023 – Genesys Works, a leading organization in advancing
career readiness opportunities for youth in underserved communities that lead to
upward mobility and economic self-sufficiency, announced today the appointment of
Charlotte Wylie to its Board of Directors.

Charlotte Wylie brings extensive global experience in the financial and technology
industries in the US and Australia, along with an impressive background in cybersecurity,
to her new role. As the Senior Vice President and Deputy Chief Security Officer at Okta,
she leads the technical cybersecurity services, overseeing the delivery of security
transformation programs and leading global engineering teams to enhance security
posture aligned with business goals for large corporations.
Beyond her professional achievements, Charlotte is also a passionate social advocate,
actively contributing to pro bono initiatives. As a member of the Okta for Good pro
bono management team and with prior experience at Symantec and The
Commonwealth Bank of Australia, she has spearheaded numerous projects that create
profound and lasting change in communities.
