Nick’s aspirations extend beyond technology. With a keen interest in corporate and immigration law, he is working hard to earn a place at USC, aiming to become the first in his family to attend college and eventually pursue a career as a top lawyer.Â
Nick’s professional journey recently took him
At the conference, Nick met Herman Brown, the Chief Information Officer for the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office, whose thoughts on AI deeply resonated with Nick. Their conversation made a strong impression on Herman, which led to Nick’s internship with the District Attorney’s Office. Now, as an IT Support Intern, Nick is gaining hands-on experience with trial AV support, inventory management, workstation set-up, storage management, and e-waste management of decommissioned systems—learning about the crucial role technology plays in the legal field.Â
Nick’s journey is a powerful example of how the Genesys Works program helps bridge the gap between high school students and professional experiences, especially for those with ambitious goals in fields like law and technology. With his dedication and drive, Nick is well on his way to leaving a lasting impact.Â
