WASHINGTON, D.C. TO BECOME 5TH OPERATING SITE

Since its founding in 2002 as a small Houston program serving just 10 students, Genesys Works has grown into a national organization that has empowered thousands of high school students in four cities across the U.S. Following the success in Houston, the Twin Cities opened its doors in 2008 as the first expansion site. Locations in Chicago and the Bay Area came next, helping the program reach 1,250 students and nearly 200 corporate partners in 2014 alone.

Genesys Works is excited to further its mission with the opening of its newest location in Washington, D.C. The site will begin operations in 2016 and have an opportunity to make a significant impact in a city where the public high school graduation rate is just 61%.

With the new location in D.C. and the continuous growth of existing sites, Genesys Works is excited to make an even greater impact as the program brings corporations, schools, and communities together to prepare this country’s next generation of leaders.
