August 14, 2019
Dear Friends and Supporters,
It is an exciting time for Genesys Works Bay Area! The students we serve are weeks away from a life-changing experience at over 30 companies across the region. Our students become valued team members to our corporate partners, they discover that college and a career are within their reach, and realize that with an opportunity, anything is possible.
This August also brings another exciting announcement for Genesys Works Bay Area! We are thrilled to welcome Sahaar Rezaie as our new Executive Director in the region. In her new role, Sahaar will lead all of our operations in the Bay Area, actively collaborating with leaders across the region to open doors of opportunity for high school students in underserved communities.
Sahaar’s personal knowledge of the Bay Area, guiding passion for public service, and experience empowering young people will be instrumental as our program continues to thrive in San Francisco and Oakland.
We hope you will join us in welcoming Sahaar to the Genesys Works family. Whether providing more internships, guiding a student from your school to our program, or providing financial support, there are endless doors to open. Thank you for your continued support as we work together to grow the Genesys Works Bay Area program.
With gratitude,
David Williams
President & Chief Executive Officer, Genesys Works
